Recognizing Season Affective Disorder

It’s very common for one to go through short periods of time feeling sad or unlike their usual selves. This can be even more frequent during the changing of seasons, as some feel “down” or get the “winter blues” when the days get shorter in the fall and winter and feel better in the spring when longer daylight hours return. This condition is known as seasonal affective disorder (SAD).
